JD Puppy
Since joining the fandom in 2004, JD Puppy has worn a lot of different hats - a fursuiter, artist, dancer, emcee, streamer, and more! By day, JD is a numbers guy and provides financial consulting for growing entrepreneurs and is a speaker on financial literacy topics for the small business commuunity. In his free time, JD enjoys playing board games with friends where he lives in Chicago as well as streaming roguelikes and puzzle video games on Twitch (twitch.tv/jdpuppy). JD is also one of the owners of Furry Logic, which brings escape room entertainment to conventions and events all across the country! JD is thrilled to be a Guest of Honor at Furry Weekend LA for its inaugural year!

RadiCal Puma
I found the furry fandom by accident in 2019. With an already established YouTube presence, I was researching ways to enhance my content. YouTube’s algorithm showed me a random video with a guy who would argue with his dog, but it was clearly just him in a dog costume. (Artemis Wishfoot’s channel if you want to know) I loved this idea, and the algorithms only showed me more. After thinking about my own character, I was watching Red vs Blue, a Halo Parody from the 2000’s and there was a joke about the Warthog looking like a Puma. And that is literally how I chose a puma as my fursona. And Thus RadiCal Puma was born.
RadiCal, like me, was born and raised in Pismo Beach, California and is a total surfer dude. Unfortunately, sandy hair and a surfer accent does not do well on job applications, so RadiCal gets to keep living the surfer life while I had to professionalize.
Wanting to bring RadiCal to life but stuck inside during COVID, I made content on twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, along with helping people start and enhance their content with perspective, advice, and encouragement! This gave me the privilege to meet so many amazing people, I wish they all could be GOH right next to me! But, trying to do what I can to give more back to the community, I host a furry surf weekend in California; to bring my love of the ocean and share my home town with the fandom as well as letting many dudes experience surfing and surf culture for the first time! I actually met the love of my life Shaka Dog surfing! I’m excited to see what the future has in store and what is possible to continue finding new and exciting ways to make content, interact with the furry community at large, and bring positivity and new experiences to as many as we can!
